Living in the slums of District Zero, Ban runs a small errand service, taking on jobs others would rather avoid. One day, he accepts a request from Shinwi, the boss of a rising criminal organization, and stumbles upon the existence of the mysterious "Project W." While investigating the substance, Ban hopes to help Ray, the police officer who once took him in and whom he has secretly loved for years.
